Billy Boulton
President/Co-Founder

Billy Boulton is a local to the Ketchikan area. He grew up with the Currall brothers and they shared many adventures in the Alaskan frontier, before he left shortly after high school. His journey beyond that time would take him around the world. After exploring private enterprise Billy sought greater meaning which led to him joining the Marine Corps, to serve in our Countries longest fought war. Now living in Southern California with his wife and three children, Billy is working tirelessly towards building this organization to help other brothers and sisters in arms return to a healthy post-service life.

Tim Currall

Tim grew up in Ketchikan Alaska with his large family of eight. Tim began working as a Commercial salmon fisherman at the age of 15 and has been married to the sea ever since. Tim now owns his own 62' commercial boat and each Summer he return to SE Alaska to earn his living on the Ocean. In 2015 Billy was the first disabled veteran to work on Tim’s boat; resulting in the concept that has become AAP. Tim has continued to offer employment opportunities to multiple program participants since.

Patrick Currall

The Currall Family has always been deeply attached to the City of Ketchikan and the State of Alaska. Patrick was born and raised in Ketchikan and worked in many of the area's unique industries, including; commercial fishing, logging and mining. Patrick and Billy were childhood friends and spent much of their youth exploring Alaska together. Patrick now lives in California with his wife and two kids, where he works as a money manager in Los Angeles. He and his Family return to Ketchikan as many times as possible each year.

Darrin Isham
Executive Director/Program Director

Darrin is a native of San Diego, California. He is a retired Navy SEAL Master Chief Petty Officer with 25 years of service in Naval Special Warfare. He earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, along with a Minor in Criminal Justice Administration from National University. Darrin is a founding member of Alaska Adventure Project, and is an active member of the veteran community supporting several non-profit organizations. He currently resides on Lake Hartwell in South Carolina with his wife.

Family Services Program Advisor
Davide retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after 32 years of service. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving veterans and their families in the private sector.

Nathaniel Currall
Legal Advisor
Nathaniel Currall, is a partner with his Chupka Currall LLC law firm based in his hometown of Ketchikan, Alaska. Nathaniel has over two decades of experience in corporate law and litigation. Nathaniel received his Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from Gonzaga University in 1997. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 2000. Nathaniel spent the first half of his career working for large international law firms in Los Angeles and Orange County California, before moving with his wife and children back to Ketchikan, Alaska. Nathaniel enjoys coaching, fishing for salmon and halibut, hiking and hunting in Southeast Alaska and has served on several volunteer boards. Nathaniel helped incorporate AAP, has hosted local events and serves as a local agent for the organization.

Robert Welsh is the Co-Founder and VP of Technical Services, Vivians.io. With over 20 years of experience as a business and technology leader, I am a Salesforce and AI expert who provides consulting, analysis, design, implementation, and administration of CRM and AI solutions for small and medium businesses. As the Vice President of Technical Services at Vivians.io, I lead a team of professionals who deliver Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud and AI-driven solutions and automations that help organizations grow, enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty. My mission is to help businesses and leaders make their digital transformation intentional and purpose-driven for all their stakeholders. Robert's certifications include Certified AI Prompt Engineer + Nerd and Salesforce.com CRM Certified Admin.

My name is Cindy Picquelle Gibbons and I’ve been helping nonprofits with their organizational and fundraising needs since 1985. Everything from Church, the Arts, Homeless Shelters, Alzheimer’s / Dementia care, Golf Tournaments and especially nonprofits that address the needs of our treasured Military Veterans. In my spare time I love to sing, golf and travel with my husband Lee.

My name is Adam Chertkow. I’m a Southern California local contractor and a Navy Seabee Veteran. I specialize in garage doors and gates. We have been in business since 1980. AAP changed my life, and the way I feel. I like to contribute to other veterans in need and am proud to serve as the Alumni Committee Chairman.
